A thermistor is an electronic component whose resistance value changes with temperature. With the change of temperature, the resistance value of thermistor will change greatly, so it is widely used in various temperature measurement occasions.
The main function of the thermistor is to measure the temperature of the surrounding environment and convert the temperature into an electrical signal output. In the industrial production process, thermistors can be used to monitor the temperature to ensure the normal operation of equipment. In household appliances, thermistors can be used to control temperature to achieve energy-saving effects.
NTC thermistor: NTC stands for Negative Temperature Coefficient, which is characterized by a decrease in resistance value as the temperature increases. Common models are MF52 series, B57164K series and so on.
PTC Thermistor: PTC represents the Positive Temperature Coefficient, which increases the resistance value as the temperature increases. Common models are B59830C series, B57550G series and so on.
Glass enclosed thermistors: Commonly used for measurement in high temperature environments. Common models are B57330V series, B57621C series and so on.
Welded thermistor: Commonly used for SMT mounting or plug-in mounting. Common models are MF58 series, B59500 series and so on.
Among them, the MF52 series is the most commonly used thermistor model, which has the characteristics of high cost performance, high precision and fast response speed.
